Instant Pot Shredded Italian Chicken

You Will Need

For the Instant Pot

  • 4 Chicken Thighs

  • Olive Oil To Coat Chicken

  • 2 TBSP Garlic (DIVIDED)

  • 2 TBSP Our Zesty Italian Seasoning

  • 2 TS Onion Powder (DIVIDED)

  • 1/2 TS Greek Seasoning

     (DIVIDED)

  • 1 Cup Water

How long does it take to boil chicken On The Stove Top?

Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce heat to low and cover. Allow chicken to cook until heated through (this usually takes 25-30 minutes for 6 chicken breasts and 8-15 minutes for 3 breasts, depending on the size). When Done Season with Our Italian Zesty Seasoning and Shred

How Do You Shred Chicken?

Once chicken is cool enough to handle, use two forks and pull breasts apart. If you want smaller pieces of shredded chicken, you can shred the larger chunks with your hands.

You can also use a hand mixer to shred chicken! Place cooked chicken in the bowl  Turn the mixer on medium and let it go until all the chicken is shredded. Fast and Easy

Directions

  • Start by coating your chicken with olive oil,

  • Use 1/2 spice to evenly coat both sides of chicken.

  • Place each piece into your steam basket, (Stacking is okay)

  • Add 1 cup water

  • Place your lid on sealing (not venting)

  • Press manual for 25 min (Natural Release)

  • Remove chicken and shred with a fork.

  • Add to tacos, casseroles, etc. Enjoy~
